DS version of SIABS, with particular cared aesthetics, silent operation and very robust structure, is the right solution for heating all the places of worship, from Cathedrals to the small chapel, churches of all sizes, age and characteristics, Careful design allows you to install these devices at very high heights, without compromising comfort.
DS heaters are also used for heating of outdoor areas of bars, restaurants, etc. (non-smoking areas).
They are made of high temperature enameled steel, available in 3 different colours: IVORY, BROWN and GRAY, to ensure the best result in any architectural ambient, for more details SEE PHOTO GALLERY.
The radiant surface is made of micro-perforated ceramic plates with low polluting emission; plates rapidly reach high operating temperatures (approx. 900 °C), and design temperature of the area to be heated is reached within minutes. Security is guaranteed by automatic electronic ignition and flame control.
Can be provide a retractable system for complete removal of the device on the cornice, when not in use, in order to make the aesthetic impact close to zero.

Burners for Heat-exchangers and Catering:
PREMIX burners, with pre-mix, have been developped for food ovens, with pollutant emissions (NOx and CO) far below European standards.
This burner in its various shapes and dimensions can be used for all types of heat-exchangers and heat generators, requiring thermal power from 1 kWatt up to 1 MWatt and beyond.

Reflectors are made of reflective stainless steel for better heat transmission to the ground. You can centralize the start-up / stop of the heaters individually and control them by programmers and thermostats.

DC version of SIABS is made with a very robust structure suitable for "heavy" use, equipped with large reflectors for better efficiency in case of heating of localized areas. DCeco version of SIABS, with more lightly construction than DC version, represents a good compromise between cost and performance. For both version, security is guaranteed by an automatic electronic ignition and flame control.
DM version of SIABS, also with increased reflectors, it is the right solution for heating of small localised zones in industrial buildings, where you want to avoid the electric plant and gas pipeline. Start-up is manual with piezo-electric push-button, while the safety is guaranteed by a system with thermo-couple.

ST, MD and MR heaters
ST, MD and MR heaters of SIABS are the right solution for heating of localised areas in industrial sheds, in order to avoid the electric plat and gas pipeline. Can be fed with natural gas or LPG gas tank.
They are made with a very robust frame, suitable for "heavy" use, with increased reflectors for better efficiency. The reflectors are made of reflective stainless steel for higher heat transmission.
They are equipped with wheels and handles to be easily transported from one workplace to another. ST version is with safety nets, and MR version comes with protective housing for the gas cylinder, for reasons of safety or aesthetics.

Industrial process burners
SIABS industrial process burners, BRP series is a newly developed product, technologically advanced and reliable, for all applications requiring a surface heat treatment with substantial savings in operating costs and low emissions (NOx and CO), far below European standards.
Highlight of the BRP burners is the metallic fiber combustor in FECRALLOY metal alloy : through a sophisticated process of production, it is transformed into a flexible and strong material, with running technical characteristics higher than any other flame burner.

The high quality of the material is guaranteed by the EN 29001European quality standard.
Important features are :
- feeding system allowing the gas-air mixture in optimal proportions, before it is blown into the burner
- very short time to get running temperatures (2 – 3 seconds)
- thermal power can be modulated ; surface temperature of the burner approx. 900 °C
- systems of electronic ignition and flame control, all of certificated type

BRP burners are designed by our engineers, depending on the application process to be treated; can be equipped with temperature controllers and any type of sensor or infrared optical pyrometer.
Irradiation
Gas fired, SIABS louminos infra-red heaters heat by irradiation mode : all bodies with a temperature above absolute zero (- 273 °C) emit thermal energy in the form of infra-red rays (same way as the sun), due to the vibration of the atoms that make up the body itself. Energy travels in straight lines at the light speed and is transformed into heat immediately when it encounters a body at lower temperature, heating only people and surfaces, not the air containing them.
Heat transfer by radiation has IMPORTANT ADVANTAGES related to the fact that heat is transfered only where needed, without heating air between heat source and bodies / surfaces to be heated.
In particular, the heat transfer takes place without disturbing people, with uniform result at different distances. No air circulation and thus movement of dust (harmful for some products). Noise level is very low.
SAVINGS
Radiant heating systems allow you to bring significant savings on the cost of initial investment, due to the lower installed power and easy installation.
Savings is relevant and most evident on the management of the plant, thanks to lower installed power, very short time to reach operating temperatures and possibility of heating localised zones, and no air stratification.
You can increase the installed power later on.
TEMPERATURES VERTICAL TREND
With a radiant system people and surfaces are directly heated, while a convection system heats air to heat people and surfaces (increased energy consumption).
Warm air, lighter than cold air, naturally moves upward causing high temperatures in the upper, unoccupied building, so the heating system must be designed to produce air at higher temperature, to get the required comfort temperature at head height, with significant losses of efficiency.
This is made evident by the following chart, which shows the difference in temperature inside a room, between a hot air system (curve C) and an irradiation system (curve R).
